In the cold winter, as temperatures drop, gas-fired wall-mounted boilers have become the primary heating solution for many households. For new users of gas-fired wall-mounted boilers, how can they operate the appliance correctly and safely? Below, we’ll share some key tips on using a gas-fired wall-mounted boiler. Standard models typically offer two distinct operating modes: space heating and domestic hot water. The control panel usually provides a switch between these two functions. During winter, the boiler can be set to provide both space heating and hot water, with hot-water priority or automatic mode switching based on user preferences. In summer, the boiler remains in standby mode, supplying only domestic hot water. Temperature control in gas-fired wall-mounted boilers generally follows the principle of maintaining a constant temperature: for underfloor heating systems, the water temperature is usually kept around 60°C. If the boiler’s output temperature exceeds 80°C or drops below 40°C, this is an unscientific operating approach. Running the boiler at a low temperature—below 40°C—after work hours is also highly inefficient and energy-ineffective.
