Tips for Using Wall-Hung Boiler Products

Wall-hung boiler manufacturers offer products that are flexible, convenient, safe, efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly. In addition, this equipment serves two purposes: it not only provides heating on cold days but also supplies domestic hot water, which many users appreciate. However, when using it in daily life, it is important to be aware of certain safety guidelines and energy-saving practices to ensure greater comfort and reliability. Wall-hung boilers are flexible, convenient, safe, efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly. Moreover, they can be used for two purposes: providing warmth during cold weather and supplying domestic hot water, both of which are highly favored by many users. Nevertheless, proper knowledge of safety measures and energy-saving techniques is essential to make their operation more comfortable and trouble-free. 1. Heating system pressure: The water pressure in wall-hung boilers should not be too high; the optimal range is 1.2–1.5 bar. At all times, the pressure gauge needle should never fall below 1 or 2 bar. If the pressure drops below 1 bar, it must be replenished to 1–1.5 bar to ensure normal boiler operation and prevent damage under high-temperature conditions. 2. Selecting the right type of gas: Most households use gas-fired wall-hung boilers, and the gas supplied must meet the manufacturer’s specifications. When choosing a gas-powered wall-hung boiler, only natural gas—or other approved gases—should be used; using any other type of fuel can not only damage the equipment but also lead to serious safety hazards. 3. Ensuring the flue is unobstructed: Wall-hung boilers typically feature a dual-pipe flue system, with an outer pipe drawing in fresh air and an inner pipe exhausting combustion gases. Both pipes must remain completely clear at all times; no blockages are permitted. During installation, the flue’s air intake and exhaust outlets must extend outside the building; sealing the flue indoors or using a single-pipe system is strictly prohibited. Otherwise, exhaust gases may be drawn back into the unit, leading to insufficient oxygen supply during combustion, which can cause ignition failure or frequent start-ups—serious risks that compromise both personal safety and property. 4. Adding antifreeze: When wall-hung boilers or heating systems containing water are operated during winter, antifreeze must be added to the system. The power supply should remain uninterrupted, and the gas supply should be adequate, to prevent freezing and potential damage to the heating system’s pump and heat exchanger, as well as to the boiler itself. Regularly check the boiler’s water pressure and operating condition to maintain safety.
